Subaru Innovation and Technology Updates for the 2019 Outback Crossover

The Subaru Outback is a longstanding favorite model for Louisiana drivers who like the versatility of a wagon-style body, with the ruggedness of a small SUV. Now available for the 2019 model year, the new Outback models we have at Giles Subaru give our customers even more technology and features than ever before.

2019 may still be a few months in the future, but we're lucky enough to already have a number of new Outback models already available for you to browse and test drive. After an overhaul and slight makeover last year, the new Subaru Outback models we have available don't feature any dramatic updates or changes. Until you delve a little further into its list of standard features.

That's because, for the first time ever, every single Subaru Outback in the model lineup will come with Subaru's signature suite of driver safety aids, called Subaru EyeSight, as standard equipment. Regardless of trim level, every new Outback driver can look for a number of helpful safety features on their vehicle, including:

  • Adaptive cruise control
  • Lane departure warning system
  • Frontal collision warning system with automatic emergency braking
  • Lane keeping assistance

Still need more reasons to consider one of our 2019 Subaru Outback models? How about extra USB ports? The new Outback also comes with extra USB connectivity ports, meaning you won't have to hear bickering over who gets to charge their device, and you'll be able to plug in more than one at a time, which is convenient when you're travelling with the whole family.

Stop by Giles Subaru in person soon, and see everything that the 2019 Outback models have to offer. Test drive one through Lafayette in person, and experience all of the Outback crossover's new features, in addition to all of the quality, comfort and pampering the model has long been known for.
