It's been a little while since it's been talked about, but the rumored and much-demanded STI tuned Subaru BRZ is still not in the cards just yet. Though the Subaru BRZ itself is a powerful rear-wheel racer, performance enthusiasts and Subaru fans everywhere are clamoring for the Subaru BRZ to bear the iconic badge of the STI.
If you're at all familiar with the WRX STI, it is easy to see why so many are desperate for a BRZ STI. The turbocharged power of the WRX STI appeals to the sense of drivers of all kinds, and if a BRZ were to get the same treatment, its performance would rival that of some of the world's most expensive supercars.
A while back we were able to glimpse an STI concept that bore a striking resemblance to the BRZ and it only fanned the flames of desire within the hearts of Subaru fans everywhere.
Alleged to be expanding the STI production, we have yet to see anything more than the iconic WRX. Not that we're complaining about it, the WRX STI is one of the best vehicles available for the performance minded. But the BRZ STI is hotly demanded, and we here at Giles Subaru in Lafayette, LA would love to welcome it to our new Subaru inventory.
