The members of our military put their lives on hold — and on the line — to protect our country and keep us safe. To show appreciation for their many sacrifices, Subaru of America offers eligible U.S. Military personnel and retirees a special discount towards the purchase of a new Subaru. Here at Giles Subaru, we’re proud to bring this program to our Louisiana neighbors who are active duty, reserve and retired members of the six branches of the United States Military and the National Guard. It’s a small way that we can show our support and gratitude, because words aren't the only way Subaru thanks you for your service.

Who can receive the Military Discount?

Eligible U.S. Military personnel and retirees can receive a $500 bonus toward the purchase of a new Subaru. This bonus is available to members of the U.S. Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, Navy, Space Force and National Guard. To confirm your eligibility for the Military Discount Program, please bring Department of Defense correspondence attesting to your Duty Status when you visit our dealership.

We also offer this bonus to veterans and retirees within 12 months of their date of separation from the military. It is also available to a spouse or domestic partner of an eligible participant residing in the same household.

How does the Subaru Military Discount Program work?

After you’ve negotiated the final price of your new Subaru with an expert member of our finance team here at Giles Subaru, you'll receive an additional discount of $500 on your purchase. In addition, your price will be further reduced by any applicable zone or regional cash incentives in effect at the time of purchase.*
