The basic engine gets a combined fuel economy of 27 MPG while the turbocharged entice has a combined 24 MPG.
Every Outback comes standard with AWD with a towing capacity of 2700 lbs. If drivers opt for the turbocharged engine then the towing capacity increases to 3500 lbs.
The interior design is not something that wows drivers but it is functional and has a high ceiling. This makes for a more comfortable ride. All of the models come with features such as heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, USB ports throughout the cabin, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat.
The tech is impressive with two stacked infotainment screens that allow for Apple CarPlay and Android Play integration. The 2021 Subaru Outback has five trim levels to choose from. All of these trim levels come with the safety and technology that drivers come to expect from Subaru. The higher levels add more luxury features than the standard models but the trim level that is the best value is the Premium trim level. This is one level above the base model and gives you more bang for your buck.
The Premium level comes with a WiFi hotspot, an 11.6-inch touch screen, and heated seats among other features and add-ons that aren’t offered with the base model.
