subaru forester
Subaru is a trusted name in reliability and safety and the Forester is leading the pack. One of the most well-known vehicles from Subaru has had some upgrades and additions for 2021. The new changes for the 2021 models add value to an already well loved vehicle.

2021 Subaru Forester Changes

The most notable two changes have been added to every trim level regardless of the packages that have been added. While they may seem like small changes, adding features that are cohesive across trim levels benefits the brand and the drivers. LED headlamps and automatic high beams used to only be available on higher trim levels but now even the base model gets these convenient features.

The limited model did get a change of its own in the transmission department. It now comes with a continuously-variable-transmission that has a seven-speed manual mode. This model can be driven as an automatic or a manual depending on the driver and the situation. There is also a center console in the back seat that is found in every trim level other than the base model.

Subaru Forester Trims

There are five different trim levels for drivers to choose from when purchasing a 2021 Subaru Forester. With a plethora of options to choose from with varying price levels, drivers can find a Forester that is right for them.

2021 Subaru Forester Base

The base model is the most economical version of the Forester, featuring a starting price of $25,845. With the lowest price point, it still has features that excite drivers. It comes with a 2.5-Liter flat four-cylinder engine that boasts 182 HP under the hood. This is great for fuel economy and offers a quiet ride. On the inside, the interior was designed to be functional and comfortable.

2021 Subaru Forester Premium

The 2021 Subaru Forester Premium seems to be the model with the best combination of features and value. There are more luxury features such as a moonroof, seats that can be power adjusted, Wi-Fi capabilities to keep you connected on the go, and heated front seats among other great features. The price point doesn’t jump much from the base model making the premium a great value. This level starts at $28,845.

2021 Subaru Forester Sport

The most notable features for the Sport trim level are the added safety features that come standard. The Sport has added blind spot detection, lane change assist, and rear traffic alert. These valuable safety features make the already safe Forester even safer. The Sport trim level has a price point of $30,445.

2021 Subaru Forester Limited

The Limited trim level adds more technology and conveniences for the driver. Adding a touch screen infotainment system, leather trimmed interior, dual climate control, and a power liftgate make driving a Forester functional and more luxurious. Drivers can get this model for a starting MSRP of $32,445.

2021 Subaru Forester Touring

The final trim level is the Touring. This has a price point of $35,945 and mostly adds conveniences. WIth one-touch seat folding in the back, a top of the line audio system, and a heated steering wheel, just to name a few, drivers will feel like they are in a luxury SUV.
